I'm Rachel Matthews
(Designer)

This isn't a gossip site, but if you're in need of a confession, here goes: I never knew I wanted to be a designer. Growing up my aspirations were always in flux. Writer. Forest Ranger. Tennis Pro. Architect. Journalist. For about 5 minutes on a college tour I was going to be a marine biologist (luckily for the sea neither the school, nor the career were a fit).

Why am I telling you this?

Because after all that discovery, I learned that I love design (and designing). I love anything that can tell a good story or communicate a great idea or support a powerful cause. Yep, I'm a sucker for a good cause. So I'm happy to have found my favorite profession, and I'm happy you have found my website.
